Regular Season Round 23: Limoges CSP - Cholet 70-93

An interesting game for Cholet (21-2) which played road game in Limoges against 4th placed Limoges CSP (16-7). First ranked Cholet had an easy win 93-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Limoges CSP. They outrebounded Limoges CSP 45-29 including a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for point guard Matheo Leray (190-2003) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Keziah Ekissi helped adding 20 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Hugo Desseignet (175-2003) responded with 18 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and Mali forward Mohamed Sidibe (196-2002) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Limoges CSP's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Cholet have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 21-2 record. Limoges CSP at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Cholet will play against Gravelines (#16) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Limoges CSP will play against Le Mans (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
