No shocking result in a game when second ranked Sokol Pisek (17-5) crushed at home 8th ranked Synthesia (10-12) 81-50 on Sunday. Sokol Pisek dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Synthesia's 30. Sokol Pisek forced 29 Synthesia turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Synthesia's players. The winners were led by point guard Daniel Hejl (178-2004) who scored that evening 12 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Filip Cihak (165) supported him with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Sokol Pisek players scored in double figures. Even 11 points and 5 rebounds by forward Stepan Vlcek (192-2004) did not help to save the game for Synthesia. Slovakian forward Marek Simonides (195-2006) added 6 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Pisek have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 17-5 record having just two points less than leader Tygri Praha. Loser Synthesia keeps the eighth place with 12 games lost.
