Bottom-ranked Shumen managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the series of nine consecutive losses on Wednesday night. This time they won against ninth-ranked Cherno More in Varna 105-101. Shumen forced 24 Cherno More turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Ishmael El-Amin (190, college: URI, agency: BIG) who scored 37 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Point guard Adriyan Sekulov (179-1996) chipped in 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Shumen's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American Thatch Unruh (196-1994, college: Cent Arkansas, agency: BIG) produced 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Martin Kotsev (195-1998, agency: BIG) added 17 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for the hosts.
