Second Stage Round 3: BAC - Holbaek 96-63

No shocking result in a game when BAC (8-15) crushed Holbaek (2-22) in Aarhus 96-63 on Wednesday. BAC dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Holbaek's 28. They outrebounded Holbaek 47-27 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. BAC looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American center Keane Thomann (211-1989, college: MSSU) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. Magnus Madsen (200-2003) accounted for 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side. Four BAC players scored in double figures. BAC's coach Thomas Hemmingsen felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gustav Winther (207-2004) came up with 25 points and 5 rebounds and forward Rasmus Moller (202-2002) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Holbaek in the defeat. BAC will meet at home Copenhagen (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Holbaek will have a break next round.
