Second Stage Round 3: Randers - Svendborg 89-87

Fifth-ranked Svendborg (12-11) was very close to win a game against Randers (20-4) on Thursday. Randers managed to secure only two-point victory 89-87. However their fans expected much easier game. Randers looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for American-Mali swingman Bakary Camara (201-1998, college: Bridgeport) who led his team to a victory with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Josh Fortune (196-1994, college: Colorado) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Fortune is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Bahamas forward Kentwan Smith (203-1991, college: Stetson) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Brantley Bynum (196-1994, college: SF State) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Svendborg. Five Svendborg players scored in double figures. Randers are looking forward to face Horsens IC (#4) on the road in the next round. Svendborg will play against Naestved and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
