A very close game took place in Den Bosch between Belgian Kangoeroes and Dutch Den Bosch. Kangoeroes got a very close victory on the road over Den Bosch. Kangoeroes managed to escape with a 3-point win 74-71 on Friday evening. Point guard Domien Loubry (186-1985) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 assists to lead the effort and DR Congolese-Belgian Wen Boss Mukubu (198-1983, college: UAB) supported him with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Even 8 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by Norwegian forward Chris-Ebou Ndow (201-1993, college: NW Missouri St.) did not help to save the game for Den Bosch. Latvian Verners Kohs (203-1997) added 15 points for the hosts. Den Bosch's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kangoeroes will meet at home Zwolle in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Den Bosch will play against Oostende and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
