Regular Season Round 24: Le Mans - Limoges CSP 75-78

Thirteenth-ranked Le Mans (8-15) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Limoges CSP (17-7) on Friday. The visitors from Limoges managed to secure only three-point victory 78-75. However their fans expected much easier game. Strangely Le Mans outrebounded Limoges CSP 42-30 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Hugo Desseignet (175-2003) who scored 20 points, 8 assists and 5 steals. Mali forward Mohamed Sidibe (196-2002) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Limoges CSP players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Dutch point guard Kezia Heulin (183-2002) who recorded 18 points and 6 assists and point guard Noah Goudou-Sinha (191-2002) added 14 points and 5 assists respectively. Le Mans' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Limoges CSP maintains fourth position with 17-7 record. Loser Le Mans dropped to the fourteenth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Monaco. Limoges CSP will meet at home Monaco (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Le Mans will play against Roanne and hope to secure a win.
