Rather expected game in Aarhus where 9th ranked BAC (8-16) was defeated by seventh ranked Copenhagen (10-14) 75-58 on Saturday. Copenhagen outrebounded BAC 47-26 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Durell Vinson (201-1985, college: Wagner) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Center Laurits Halstad (209-2003) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Four Copenhagen players scored in double figures. Magnus Madsen (200-2003) produced 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Marcus Vinther (195-2002) added 2 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. BAC's coach Thomas Hemmingsen rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Copenhagen have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 10-14 record. Loser BAC keeps the ninth place with 16 games lost. Copenhagen will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BAC will play against Holbaek (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
