No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked TSU (9-8) crushed bottom-ranked Vera (2-16) in Tbilisi 100-76 on Saturday. TSU dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Vera's 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 20 passes made by Vera's players. It was an exceptional evening for the former international power forward Beka Bekauri (209-1991, agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. The former international point guard George Tsintsadze (192-1986) accounted for 12 points, 5 rebounds and 16 assists for the winning side. Five TSU players scored in double figures. The former international guard Luka Zakradze (193-1996) came up with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and American guard Kaiden Rice (201, college: Georgetown) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Vera in the defeat. TSU moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cactus and Batumi. Vera lost their eleventh game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost.
