Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Hamm and 12th ranked Hertener Loewen had identical 10-13 record. But Hertener Loewen was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Hamm 84-79 on Saturday night. Naturalized Bosnian forward Mateo Zovko (193-1998, college: Laramie CC) stepped up and scored 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and American guard Tyler Brevard (189-1998, college: Lander) chipped in 21 points and 5 assists. Brevard is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side naturalized Italian Dario Fiorentino (206-1986) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and Kosovan guard Faton Jetullahi (188-1994) scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Hamm (11-13) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Hertener Loewen dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Tuebingen.
