Very expected game in Saratov where 9th ranked Avtodor-2 (10-32) was crushed by first ranked MBA-2 (34-8) 110-59 on Saturday. MBA-2 forced 20 Avtodor-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 43-23 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. MBA-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Avtodor-2's players. Forward Kirill Esipov (195-2002, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) fired 20 points for the winners. Center Vladimir Tkachenko (201-2002) chipped in 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Matvey Popov (192-2004) produced 12 points and 5 assists and guard Andrey Ivanov (199-2003) added 12 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MBA-2 have an impressive six-game winning streak.
