Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Lorient (4-0) won against on the road 8th ranked Besancon (1-3) 98-84 on Friday. Lorient looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Guinean point guard Ahmed Doumbia (195-1989) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Quentin Losser (202-1999) who added 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American Mykal Riley (198-1985, college: Alabama) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international center Ferdinand Prenom (204-1991) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws).
