Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Tuebingen (11-14) defeated at home 13th ranked Giessen Ak. (3-22) 85-74 on Saturday. Tuebingen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Giessen Ak.'s players. Forward Joshua Schwaibold (198) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Rouven Hanig supported him with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Tuebingen's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 21 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by point guard Jon Ukaj (185-2005) did not help to save the game for Giessen Ak..
