We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when sixth ranked Licher Basket (14-11) beat on the road 5th ranked Ulm BBU 01 (14-12) 78-64 on Saturday. Licher Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Ulm BBU 01's 20. Power forward Yannik Ribbecke (197-1997) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Felix-Frederik Schweizer supported him with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Licher Basket's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 26 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) by point guard Marko Rosic (175-2005) did not help to save the game for Ulm BBU 01. Latrell Grosskopf (200-2001) added 14 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Licher Basket moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Wulfen and Muenster 2. Ulm BBU 01 lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost.
