Regular Season Round 21: SKM I - Saule 93-64

No shocking result in a game in Vilniaus where third ranked SKM I (15-5) smashed 5th ranked Saule (13-7) 93-64 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by SKM I. Saule managed to win second period 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Nojus Kuliesa (185) stepped up and scored 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and forward Ernestas Matulevic (200-2005) chipped in 11 points and 13 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Joris Kacinskas (-2005) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Deividas Zukauskas (162-2005) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SKM I moved-up to second place. Loser Saule keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. SKM I will meet Birzu (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Saule will play against VKM (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
