Regular Season Round 26: ASVEL - Cholet 68-84

An interesting game for Cholet (23-3) which played road game in Villeurbanne against second-ranked ASVEL (19-5). First ranked Cholet had an easy win 84-68. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of ASVEL. Cholet looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Keziah Ekissi orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Lucas Dufeal (204-2003) contributed with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. Forward Zaccharie Risacher (200-2005) replied with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and Gambian center Babacar Mbye (212-2002) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for ASVEL. Five Cholet and four ASVEL players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first position with 23-3 record. ASVEL at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost. Cholet are looking forward to face Nanterre (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ASVEL will play against Roanne (#5) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
