BasketLigaen top team - Randers (22-5) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked Svendborg (12-14) 83-76. American forward Brandon Norfleet (196-1993, college: IUP, agency: Inception Sports) had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Josh Fortune (196-1994, college: Colorado) chipped in 24 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Fortune is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Randers players scored in double figures. Randers' coach Jimmy Moore allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Bahamas forward Kentwan Smith (203-1991, college: Stetson) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Jermaine Marrov scored 24 points. Randers have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 22-5 record. Svendborg lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 14 games lost. Randers will play against league's second-placed Bakken in Aarhus in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Svendborg will play on the road against Horsens IC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
