Very expected game when bottom-ranked Lyon (0-5) was defeated at home by third ranked Rueil (4-2) 74-67 on Friday. Rueil forced 21 Lyon turnovers. The best player for the winners was swingman Steven Ricard (200-1990) who scored 22 points. Point guard Matteo Legat (191-1996) chipped in 20 points. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Romain Parmentelot (190-2004) who recorded 20 points and 5 rebounds and Bahamas Aaron Levarity (203-1997, college: Milligan) added 7 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Lyon's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Rueil moved-up to second place, which they share with Tours and Chartres. Loser Lyon still closes the standings with five games lost. Rueil will meet at home Andrezieux (#5) in the next round. Lyon will play against Tours (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
