Second Stage Round 7: Giants B - LDP Donza 90-88

The most exciting game of round 7 in the Top Division I took place in Antwerp. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked LDP Donza (5-2) to sixth ranked Giants B (3-4) 90-88 on Friday evening. It was a great evening for Seppe Willems (202-1999) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Vince Van Cleemput (198-2002) helped adding 25 points and 5 rebounds. Giants B's coach Luc Smout used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side Sander Van Caeneghem (206-1995) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 15 rebounds and guard Simon Gesquiere (186-1996) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Giants B moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Royal Brussels. LDP Donza at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost.
