The game without a history. Kauhajoki led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Pyrinto's 52. They outrebounded Pyrinto 40-13 including a 27-8 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kauhajoki players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Jeffrey Crockett (201-1991, college: Texas Tech) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Guard Cameron Jones (193-1989, college: NAU, agency: BIG) contributed with 20 points and 9 assists for the winners. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Kauhajoki's coach Janne Koskimies allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Ike Smith (193-1997, college: Georgia South) replied with 31 points and guard LJ Thorpe (196-1999, college: UNC Asheville) added 17 points and 6 assists in the effort for Pyrinto.
