Very predictable result when fifth ranked Torrent (16-9) edged at home 11th ranked Tabernes (9-17) 78-75 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Center Lucas Blasco (197-1998) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Andreu Saez (192-2004) chipped in 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Torrent players scored in double figures. Manuel Aroca (191-1991) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and Roberto Holgado (-1999) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side.
