Quarter-Finals Round 1: Levice - Inter Bratislava 78-53
Date: April 2, 2023
Levice outrebounded Inter Bratislava 45-31 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Inter Bratislava's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Levice made 7 blocks. It was a very good performance for Dutch-British guard Devon Van Oostrum (190-1993, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international David Abraham (193-1996) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Levice players scored in double figures. Lithuanian center Tomas Zdanavicius (203-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Martin Koller (186-2004) added 8 points in the effort for Inter Bratislava. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
