New Zealand center Yannick Wetzell (206-1996, college: SDSU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. The former international Johannes Thiemann (206-1994) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. ALBA Berlin's coach Israel Gonzalez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Derek Cooke Jr (206-1991, college: Wyoming) replied with 13 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and his fellow American import guard Isaiah Washington (185-1998, college: LBSU, agency: Players Group) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Skyliners. ALBA Berlin (23-2) have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position. Skyliners at the other side keep the seventeenth place with 20 games lost.
