Quarter-Finals Round 3: Seagulls - Nokia 101-74
Date: April 8, 2023
The game without a history. Seagulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Seagulls brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a good game for American swingman Rene Rougeau (198-1986, college: UNLV, agency: Blacktop Management) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The former international guard Lassi Nikkarinen (187-1997, college: Montana St.) contributed with 13 points and 7 assists for the winners. American power forward Alan Herndon (206-1994, college: Wyoming) answered with 17 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Johnathan Stove (193-1995, college: Louisiana, agency: One Motive Sports) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Nokia. Five Seagulls and four Nokia players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
