There was a small surprise in Stahnsdorf where tenth ranked Schwelm (11-13) defeated 8th ranked TKS 49ers (11-13) 83-67 on Saturday. American CJ Oldham (202-1991, college: Gannon) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Robert Merz (198-2000) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Schwelm players scored in double figures. Ukrainian point guard Andriy Kozhemiakin (190-1996, agency: BIG) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Robin Jorch (211-1994, college: Boise St.) scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. TKS 49ers' coach Vladimir Pastushenko rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Schwelm moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated TKS 49ers. TKS 49ers lost fifth consecutive game.
