Regular Season Round 27: Polit-Halychyna - Zaporizhye 72-76

There was a surprise result in Lviv where ninth ranked Zaporizhye (4-28) beat higher ranked Polit-Halychyna (15-17) 76-72 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Polit-Halychyna won third quarter 20-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was forward Anton Buts (203-1988, agency: BIG) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Roman Morozov (204-1998) chipped in 25 points and 7 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was forward Danilo Kych (195-2000) who recorded 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Mykhailo Horobchenko (185-1998, agency: BIG) added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Five Polit-Halychyna players scored in double figures. Zaporizhye maintains ninth place with 4-28 record. Polit-Halychyna lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth position with 17 games lost.
