Semi-Finals Game 4: Baerum Basket - Gimle 77-93
Date: April 11, 2023
Gimle made 23-of-30 charity shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Gimle outrebounded Baerum Basket 43-31 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by American forward Dante Thompson (201-1993, college: GBC) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international guard Lars Espe (185-1998, college: Barry) supported him with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Gimle players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds by the former international forward Sjur Dyb Berg (201-1996, college: Alaska-Anch.) did not help to save the game for Baerum Basket. American point guard Eric Gilchrese (183-1987, college: UNH) added 20 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
