There was no surprise in Kastrup where 10th ranked Amager (6-20) was edged by seventh ranked Copenhagen (12-15) 84-82 on Wednesday. American center Durell Vinson (201-1985, college: Wagner) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Spanish guard Andrew Ramirez (187-1997, college: Hartford) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Jordan Johnson (198-1998, college: Concordia, WI) with 27 points and 8 rebounds and forward Magnus Bjornaa (195-1996, college: Potomac St.) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Amager players scored in double figures. Amager's coach Lars Klussmann rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Copenhagen maintains seventh place with 12-15 record, which they share with Vaerlose. Loser Amager keeps the tenth position with 20 games lost. Copenhagen will meet at home BAC (#9) in the next round. Amager will play against Holbaek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
