Regular Season Round 27: Maroussi - Agriniou 93-73

A2 top team - Maroussi (19-8) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Agriniou (10-17) in Athens 93-73. Maroussi players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a great evening for forward Ilias Theodorou (206-1995, college: Pacific) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Charalambos Kiousis (200-2002) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Maroussi players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Finnish guard Kalin Fisher (188-1996, college: Hampton) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Dimitris Tsourgianis (200-2001) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Maroussi. They maintain first place with 19-8 record, which they share with Psychikou. Agriniou at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. Maroussi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Athens to the arena Psychikou.
