Second Stage Round 9: Challans - Feurs CTC 65-72

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when seventh ranked Feurs CTC (4-5) defeated on the road 6th ranked Vendee Challans (4-5) 72-65 on Friday. Feurs CTC made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Eddy Djedje (197-1995) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Yanis Harrath (178-1998) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Bahamas forward Radshad Davis (195-1996, college: FIU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Thibault Desseignet (178-1998) added 13 points respectively. Feurs CTC moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Vendee Challans. Feurs CTC will meet at home higher ranked Tours (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vendee Challans will play against Lyon and hope to secure a win.
