The game was mostly controlled by Thor Thorl. Haukar was better in fourth quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American-French forward Jordan Semple (201-1992, college: Chico St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard Vinnie Shahid (180-1998, college: NDSU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 assists for the winners. Thor Thorl's coach Larus Jonsson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Danish forward Daniel Mortensen (204-1994, college: Barry) replied with 20 points and 4 assists and the former international guard Hilmar Henningsson (195-2000) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Haukar. Four Thor Thorl and five Haukar players scored in double figures.
