Regular Season Round 26: Martinenc - Igualada 60-73

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Barcelona where eleventh ranked Igualada (11-15) won against 10th ranked Martinenc (11-15) 73-60 on Saturday. Igualada made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Carles Fons (189-1991) scored 26 points to lead the charge for the winners and center Eduard Tejero (196-1992) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) during the contest. Power forward Aitor Perez (203-1988) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Ignacio Fernandez (181-1989, agency: BIG) scored 4 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Igualada have a solid three-game winning streak.
