There was no surprise when 13th ranked Estrada (4-22) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Gijon Basket (14-12) 80-71 on Saturday. Swingman Carlos Suarez (186-1999) scored 20 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Mario Mendez (190-2003) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest.
