Very expected game when Pistoia (1-6) was defeated at home by Treviglio (5-2) 75-61 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Eric Lombardi (201-1993) who scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Jason Clark (189-1990, college: Georgetown) chipped in 18 points. Treviglio's coach Alessandro Finelli used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was British forward Carl Wheatle (200-1998, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 19 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Jordon Varnado (198-1997, college: Troy) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Treviglio will meet at home Cento (#5) in the next round. Pistoia will play against Cantu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
