An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ostrow Wlkp.. First ranked WKS Slask faced 4th ranked Stal. Guests from Wroclaw (21-7) defeated host Stal (18-10) 75-68. WKS Slask made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Stal was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Lukasz Kolenda (195-1999) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists. The former international power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-1997) contributed with 20 points for the winners. WKS Slask's coach Ertugrul Erdogan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Latvian guard Aigars Skele (193-1992) replied with 13 points and 6 assists and the former international power forward Damian Kulig (205-1987) added 7 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Stal. Defending champion maintains first position with 21-7 record. Stal at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. WKS Slask will play against Enea Zastal (#9) in Zielona Gora in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stal will play at home against Legia (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
