There was no surprise when 11th ranked Shumen (6-24) was crushed at home by sixth ranked Levski (15-15) 86-62. Levski players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian power forward Sergiy Pavlov (209-1997, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. American-Haitian center John Florveus (211-1990, college: Georgia, agency: BIG) contributed with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Levski players scored in double figures. Forward Georgi Kenderov (197-1999) answered with 25 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Ishmael El-Amin (190-1998, college: URI) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Shumen. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Levski maintains sixth place with 15-15 record. Shumen lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games. They share the position with Cherno More.
