The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 28-23. But TSU won second period 23-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Mega won last quarter 25-24. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The former international swingman Nika Chechelashvili (195-1999) notched 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and American power forward Marqus Gilsonx (196, college: CWU) supported him with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 26 points by American guard Djimon Henson (193-1998, college: Morehead St.) did not help to save the game for TSU. The former international point guard George Tsintsadze (192-1986) added 17 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
