Valencia clinched their first ever Liga Dia title. They overcame Avenida on the road to complete the sweep of the championship series. They Valencia made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Valencia outrebounded Avenida 39-26 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. International center Raquel Carrera (188-2001) scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Queralt Casas (177-1992) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Valencia's coach Ruben Burgos used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
