The game was mostly controlled by Valur. Tindastoll managed to win fourth quarter 25-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Valur dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Tindastoll's 22. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Kristofer Acox (198-1993, college: Furman) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field).
