Finals Game 6: Seagulls - Kauhajoki 91-66

Seagulls clinched Korisliiga title. They knocked down Kauhajoki in Game 6 to earn the trophy. The game was mostly controlled by Seagulls. Kauhajoki managed to win third quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Seagulls looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Rene Rougeau (198-1986, college: UNLV, agency: Blacktop Management) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international point guard Lassi Nikkarinen (187-1997, college: Montana St.) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five Seagulls players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Jeffrey Crockett (201-1991, college: Texas Tech) who recorded 16 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Severi Kaukiainen (185-1998, agency: Blacktop Management) added 16 points and 7 assists respectively.
