Finals Game 3: Lyon - Villeneuve 74-68

Lyon are 22/23 LFB champions. They held off Villeneuve in the decisive third game of the championship series to lift the trophy. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a great evening for the former international center Sandrine Gruda (193-1987) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Belgian point guard Julie Allemand (173-1996, agency: LBM Management) helped adding 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Lyon players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Kamiah Smalls (178-1998, college: JMU) with 17 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Kennedy Burke (185-1997, college: UCLA) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds.
