Chalons-Reims outrebounded Entente Orleans 45 48-32 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Entente Orleans 45 was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (205-1988) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Mathis Keita (192-1992, college: IUP) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Chalons-Reims players scored in double figures. American guard Jonathan Stark (184-1995, college: Murray St., agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 14 points and 4 assists and swingman Neftali Difuidi-Walokwa (193-2001) added 7 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Entente Orleans 45. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
