Hapoel Jerusalem outrebounded Bnei Hasharon 38-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Trinidad and Tobago-American Khadeen Carrington (193-1995, college: Seton Hall) who helped to win the game recording 26 points. American point guard Kenneth Smith (190-1993, college: Louisiana Tech) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach Aleksandar Dzikic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American Chris Babb (196-1990, college: Iowa St.) replied with 26 points (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and his fellow American import center Julian Gamble (208-1989, college: Miami, FL) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Bnei Hasharon.
