Virtus BO made 25-of-32 charity shots (78.1 percent) during the game. Tortona was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international point guard Daniel Hackett (193-1987, college: USC) nailed 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Georgian Tornike Shengelia (206-1991, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Virtus BO players scored in double figures. American swingman JP Macura (196-1995, college: Xavier) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and international power forward Luca Severini (204-1996) added 14 points respectively for Tortona in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
