Finals Game 7: Levice - Komarno 78-61

Levice earned the Nike SBL title. They overcame Komarno in the decisive seventh game of the championship series to lift the trophy. The game was mostly controlled by Levice. Komarno managed to win second period 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Dutch-British guard Devon Van Oostrum (190-1993, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 13 points. Bosnian point guard Drasko Knezevic (185-1993) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Serbian forward Vuk Djordjevic (203-1999) answered with 24 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Shane Gatling (188-1998, college: Colorado) added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Komarno. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
