Hapoel Tel-Aviv dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Hapoel Jerusalem's 30. Hapoel Tel-Aviv players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Hapoel Jerusalem's players. American players dominated the game. Swingman Jordan McRae (197-1991, college: Tennessee) stepped up and scored 20 points and 4 assists for the winners and guard Xavier Munford (193-1992, college: URI) chipped in 16 points. At the losing side point guard Kenneth Smith (190-1993, college: Louisiana Tech) responded with 18 points and center Zachary Hankins (211-1996, college: Xavier) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
