Finals Game 3: Buducnost - SC Derby 103-87

Buducnost earned Erste Liga title. They overcame SC Derby in Game 3 of the Finals to complete the sweep of the championship series. The victory marked the 15th League trophy for Buducnost. The game was mostly controlled by Buducnost. SC Derby managed to win third quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Buducnost shot 63.8 percent from the field. Buducnost outrebounded SC Derby 31-17 including a 22-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Buducnost looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American J.J. O'Brien (200-1992, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) who scored 30 points and 8 rebounds. Canadian guard Trae Bell-Haynes (188-1995, college: Vermont) chipped in 10 points and 9 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Emir Hadzibegovic (204-1996) who recorded 12 points and 7 rebounds and David Mirkovic (200-2006) added 16 points respectively. Five Buducnost and four SC Derby players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
