Finals Game 3: Chalon/Saone - Chalons-Reims 83-68

Chalon/Saone celebrated ProB title. They held off Chalons-Reims in the decisive third game of the championship series. Chalon/Saor made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Chalons-Reims helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Antoine Eito (188-1988) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 assists. Swedish center Mattias Markusson (220-1996, college: LMU) chipped in 8 points and 12 rebounds. Four Chalon/Saor players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Marquis Jackson (183-1994, college: Ohio Christian) who recorded 11 points and 6 rebounds and Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (205-1988) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Chalons-Reims' coach Thomas Andrieux rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
