Milano earned the third victory in the best-of-seven championship series and inched closer to the title. Milano led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Milano outrebounded Virtus BO 36-19 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Danish Shavon Shields (201-1994, college: Nebraska) stepped up and scored 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and the former international power forward Nicolo Melli (205-1991) chipped in 13 points and 12 rebounds. Four Milano players scored in double figures. The former international Marco Belinelli (196-1986) responded with 17 points and French Isaia Cordinier (196-1996) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
