Virtus Bologna outgunned Milano to force the decisive seventh game in the championship series. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-66. Virtus BO dominated on the defensive end, holding Milano to just 7 points in fourth quarter. 25 personal fouls committed by Milano helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international point guard Daniel Hackett (193-1987, college: USC) scored 13 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and French Isaia Cordinier (196-1996) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest.
